Hullo! Its been a while since I last wrote, but not without good reason!
As mentioned in the previous post I have been to Norway
& have been fussing over result related things for the last few days (parties phoning up unis etc.) ...anyway I was rather bemused by my results- I had studied exeptionaly hard for chemistry, pretty much at the expense of all other subjects however....I managed to get a 'd'.
As you can tell I'm not terribly pleased with that -I practicaly learnt how to revise purely for that exam & then to get that result was most vexing! However all is not as bad as it seems; in my other two subjects (Philosophy & archæoIogy) I got both B's which on roughly 3 hours if revision in total apeice isn't too rotten... I also got a E in Biology, but that doesn't realy count as I was going to drop it, but decided not to, as I still found the subject interesting- subsiquently I went to class mainly out of interest, but did hardly anyhing besides for the course (save some areas far out beyond reaches of the sylabus)
Back on subject I have a place at Birmingham for foundation chemistry, but due to my rather rotten grade, I'm seeing if I can transfer to philosophy.
As for Norway most of the retelling of that is waiting on me getting photographs to illistrate it!
Lastly the big squid is almost done so should be posted within the week.
Cheers & lots of luv to everyone

PS. Good luck to anyone still in clearing!

i'll see you at Birmingham!
I'm gonna go into my second year. It's great place to 'study'- the clubs in town are exceptionally good.
I dropped biology in my AS- unlike you i was not the least bit interested. I got an E, which is terrible seeing as for GCSE's i got AA...hmm.
Don't let your grades get you down- a few letters on a sheet of paper dont govern your future, no matter what people say. It sucks that you did all that work but the past is the past
